The '12 Saints' trail will be a joy for every mountain biker with basic fitness looking for a technically moderate route. Riding along gravel roads, old cart paths, and forest trails through abandoned villages, as well as viewpoints offering vistas of most of the Kvarner Bay, are just some of the reasons to embark on this cycling adventure. Moreover, as the trail's name suggests, there are as many as 12 sacral objects along the route, which are part of the rich sacral heritage of Malinska and the entire Dubašnica region.

Starting from Sveti Vid, you ride through olive groves to the abandoned village of Sršići. Although the village had about 60 inhabitants at the beginning of the 20th century, it now sleeps a deep sleep. The ruins of old stone houses, overgrown with ivy, will whisper melancholic stories that were never written. Rest by the chapel, enjoy the silence and the chirping of birds, and then continue along the cart path to Rasopasno. Combining gravel and asphalt, you reach Gabonjin, where the sight of the little church of St. Peter, situated on an elevation 250 meters above the sea, will capture your attention. Stop by the church and enjoy the view of most of the island of Krk. Ahead of you is a longer gravel descent to the upper Dubašnica villages, where you continue through a labyrinth of shepherd paths, green pastures, well-kept olive groves, and the shade of oak forests. Before crossing the main island road, in the hamlet of Strilčići, you will find the remains of the chapel of St. Nicholas from the 14th century, built in the Gothic style, with church walls still bearing traces of wall paintings. The second, flatter part of the trail will draw your attention to typical island architecture. Before reaching the finish in Sveti Vid, visit the Cickini Archaeological Collection, where you will see numerous items found at the nearby Cickini archaeological site, with a baptismal font being a standout among them.
