The construction of Paradise Road, a promenade stretching from the Haludovo bathing area towards Njivice, was initiated by the Malinska Bathing Commission in 1934. In line with the then-growing efforts to enhance and develop public spaces due to the significant expansion of tourism, landowners generously granted their plots for use without any compensation.

Over the years, the promenade has been extended and renovated multiple times. In 2024, with the merging of neighboring municipalities, it reached its final form.

It is a typical Mediterranean promenade, where planted core mediterranean vegetation (such as Aleppo pine, mock privet, cypress) intertwines with native sub-Mediterranean vegetation (such as white hornbeam and downy oak). This combination has preserved the area's authenticity while introducing evergreen elements that enhance not only the visual appeal of the landscape but also provide exceptional aromatherapeutic benefits.

The promenade's shelter from dominant winds and its southwestern exposure creates a favorable microclimate that supports rich biodiversity. Among its ground vegetation, one can find a dozen species of wild orchids and numerous flowering and medicinal plants, making a walk along this path an ever-changing experience filled with new wonders and unique beauty in every season.

Rajska Cesta is undoubtedly the most significant monument of public park and landscape culture in the Dubašnica region.
